The activity will always be in the company of a professional team of skippers, biologists and lookouts.

Itinerary - Whale and Dolphin Watching - Ponta Delgada
- Departure Point: In Pêro de Teive marina in Ponta Delgada, at 08:30 AM and 01:00 PM (Semi rigid) or at 09:00 AM and 01:30 PM for Catamaran
- Briefing: Before leaving to the sea is held a briefing on cetaceans, sighting methods, safety rules and the code of ethics of Whale and Dolphin Watching in the Azores
- Sea at sight! We will observe the different species of whales and dolphins in São Miguel.
- Back to the Marina Pêro de Teive, in Ponta Delgada.
Duration: 3 hours – about 20 to 30 minutes briefing time + 2.5 hours at sea.
Additional Information
- Your tour can be on 2 different types of boats, depending on availability and the time schedule: semi-rigid (speedboat); or catamaran (large boat, WC on board);
- Staffed by qualified professionals (skippers, biologists and lookouts), who speak several languages, such as: English and Spanish
- Semi-rigid: Raincoats are optional and the lifejackets is mandatory. Catamaran: Life jackets are on board and the raincoats is not applicable.
