There are several unmissable landscapes. For example the Lagoa das Sete Cidades, located on the island of São Miguel. This is one of the ex-libris of the Azores. Its mix of green and blue waters leaves everyone in love. It is classified as a Natura 2000 Protected Landscape and named one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal.

Lagoa do Fogo, also on the island of São Miguel, is a sight not to be missed. It is a must visit place. This is the caldera of a dormant volcano and offers absolutely breathtaking views. You will be enchanted by the contrast between the green vegetation of the lagoon walls and the blue water of the lagoon. This is one of the most beautiful places in the Azores.

We cannot fail to mention the view from the Miradouro da Serra do Cume, on Terceira Island. From this point there is a panoramic and spectacular view of the so-called Manta de Retalhos. This patchwork is the division of agricultural fields made using black basalt stones. The various shades of green attribute uniqueness to this landscape.
