Ribeira Grande and Lagoa (full day)

Beginning of the tour, with a visit to the Lagoa city and stop at ceramic factory Vieira, only in the Azores with pottery and manufacture of traditional pottery. Then, we continue towards Pico da Barrosa, from where you can contemplate the Lagoa do Fogo. The tour continues with a descent to the North Coast and stop at the Regional Natural Monument of Caldeira Velha, where you can enjoy the lush greenery and enjoy a thermal bath. Lunch will be served at local restaurant and traditional of Ribeira Grande. After lunch, we will take a walk where we can visit the main points of interest of the northern city and admire the fine examples of local architecture, very present in this place. The tour continues with a visit to one of the almost obligatory passage points, the liquour factory of Eduardo Ferreira, with taste of the regional liquors there produced. Return to Ponta Delgada is made by the North coast of the island.
