Discover the magnificent South coast of the island of São Miguel, watch dolphins and whales in their natural habitat, taste the flavors of our land and visit a unique nature reserve: : this is the experience we propose. The trip will be a true expedition because we are invited , not only to know the natural habitat of magnificent cetaceans, as well as the islet of Vila Franca do Campo, one of the most exclusive bathing areas of the island (due to access by sea) and classified as a Nature Reserve since 1983. Our shelter is in Vila Franca do Campo (East of the island), for a typical lunch served at local restaurant.

Schedules and meeting points

08:30 - Picos de Aventura (Briefing)

09:00 – Beginning of the activity at sea

12:00 – Stop in Vila Franca do Campo to lunch at local restaurant

13:30 – Departure for the islet of Vila Franca

15:30 – Return from the Islet of Vila Franca do Campo

16:00 – Return journey along the coast till Ponta Delgada

17:00 – Arrival at the Marina of Ponta Delgada and end of activity

Minimum equipment necessary

Comfortable shoes with rubber soles, hat, water, sunscreen, towel and bathing suit.

Recommended Equipment

Windbreaker jacket, proof bag (to keep the phone and/or the camera).
