This circuit of low to medium level takes place essentially in the area of lagoa das Furnas calderas. It is a circuit intended for people that wish to know better caldera where you can find lagoa das Furnas. The route is circular, covering the dirt road that surrounds the lake. The highest point of this walk is located in Pico dos Milhos, in the middle of the circuit. The descent is by secondary paths that lead to the village, where you can observe secondary volcanism phenomena also. The trail is in good condition, and the climbs are easy progression.

09:00 or 13:30 - Picos de Aventura

09:45 or 14:15 - Beginning of the tour at Lagoa das Furnas calderas

11:45 or 16:15 - End of the tour

12:30 or 17:00 - Arrival at Ponta Delgada and end of activity

Minimum equipment necessary

Proper footwear, comfortable clothing, light jacket, extra t-shirt/sweater, water, snack, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and backpack

Recommended Equipment

MTB Gloves, hydration bag, clip shoes and pedals.
